Easy Enough to Install - Great Capacity

We've had this unit installed for about 1 month now and it has only needed to regenerate twice on the highest salt efficiency setting. (2.6lb) (2 people @ 29 grains hardness) Now we have plenty of capacity to add more people to the household!
On sale this cost 1/3 of what a competitor quoted me for a similar capacity model.

I was ready to throw my dishwasher out after two years of trying every detergent on the market. Finally, I tried this Sears water softener. My husband installed the softener and I have had sparkling clean dishes ever since. Many other household benefis have been reaped with the benefits of soft water including my laundry.
Pros: Durable, Easy to clean, Easy to install, Easy to use

We purchased this unit 6 months ago. We have extremely hard water at 30 grains. After you add the iron content it is set at 40. We use only the pellets. We have not had a problem with this unit. The salt pellets never bridge as did in our old unit. The water is beautiful and soft. Huge improvement over the unit we had previously.
My husband installed it. I programed it (easy) We had to purchase addtitional plumbing to accomodate it where the old unit was. He was skeptical over it all being in one unit, but he's pleased with the performance of this one. I love the fact we can see how much water we use per day as well. We are a family of four living on acreage, our well water is terrible for how hard it is. This unit has been a nice surprise. It's a lot quieter than our old was. Love this. I would certainly consider another one.
