Great kayak for a beginner or if you need maneuverability such as in wetlands or narrow channels. I frequent areas where the water can be quite shallow and riddled with rocks and downed trees. I expected gouges or at least scrapes on the hull after one eventful trip, but the damage is barely noticable. Though it is more for calm water, its pretty good for going downstream in swift currents, but I would recommend using a skirt if going upstream.
Pros: Easy to use, Sturdy, Comfortable
